Dan Norton

Chairman
Dr Dan Norton is also Chairman of the National Electricity Market Management Company (NEMMCO) Limited and the Menzies Research Institute (University of Tasmania). He is also a Director of Freightlink Pty Ltd (and associated companies), and consulting companies TFG International Pty Ltd and Trinitas Pty Ltd.

His former positions include: CEO & Managing Director of Aurora Energy Pty Ltd; CEO & Managing Director of the Hydro Electric Corporation; Secretary, Department of Premier and Cabinet (Tas); and, Deputy Secretary, Department of Treasury and Finance (Tas).

Joan Roberts

Joan Roberts is a special counsel with Harwood Andrews Lawyers in its Melbourne office. She has extensive experience in providing legal compliance and advisory services to private and public sector businesses.

She is a director of a number of private companies a state and national councillor of the Taxation Institute of Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Taxation Institute of Australia.

Margaret O'Rourke

Margaret O'Rourke is the Hobart and Southern Tasmanian General Manager of Telstra Countrywide and has more than 25 years experience in the telecommunications industry. She has worked in every Australian state and on working parties overseas, and brings a strong background in understanding the regulatory process, auditory procedures and human resource management to the team on the board of PDC.

She is also a Board Member of the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Bruce McGowan

Bruce McGowan has held CEO roles in major Australian and International transport and logistics companies . He was President of BHP's global transport operations for several years, General Manager of the Port Kembla Coal Loader and CEO of Freightlink and the owner and operator of the Adelaide to Darwin railway. Bruce has successfully managed businesses in stevedoring, port operations, shipping and chartering, rail and road contracting, and intermodal transport. He has operational experience in raw materials handling and large infrastructure projects from working in the mining, engineering, steel and transport and logistics industries. Bruce is now an Independent Director of Freightlink , a former Chairman of the Victorian Seafreight Council and Member of the Australian Logistics Council.

Owen Williams

Owen Williams is the Director and Principal of ASIR Pty Ltd, which provides Analysis, Structuring and Implementation Resources in respect of project and structured finance, re-financing and growth projects.

Previous positions have included Head of Project and Structured Finance for Jones Lang LaSalle, Director Corporate Finance Hambros Corporate Finance Ltd; Director Babcock Brown Melbourne and Director Bain & Company. He is an Associate member of the Securities Institute of Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Barry Berwick

Barry Berwick has over 35 years experience working with Australian Port Authorities. He has been based in the ports of Launceston, Burnie, Townsville and Darwin and his experience covers all facets of port operations and marine facility development. He has held engineering management leadership positions responsible for infrastructure delivery and maintenance and, more recently, executive management positions, including CEO of the Darwin Port Corporation.

Barry is now a principal of Connell Wagner - Consulting Engineers, where he is the Marine Services Group Leader and provides strategic advice on port and marine works to Port Authorities and Port Users in Australia and overseas.

Evan Rolley

Evan Rolley has extensive CEO and Director experience with a range of state, national and international bodies. His experience spans the forest products supply chain, international marketing, product development, infrastructure projects and senior government leadership roles. Over the last twenty years Evan has played a key strategic role with Tasmanian business at the regional level to expand exports to international markets.

Evan’s academic background is in both science and economics. He operates a successful small farming enterprise and consultancy business.
