Port Services

The Port Services business unit is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of shipping and cargo through Tasmania’s ports. The main functions of Port Services include: pilotage, security, navigation, port control, emergency response and cargo operations.

Pilotage is also conducted at a variety of locations around the state to enable cruise vessel visits to other areas of interest to visitors such as Port Arthur, Port Davey and Freycinet Peninsula.
