Anthony Donald

Chief Executive Officer

As the company’s most senior executive, Anthony has overall responsibility for all major corporate and operational decisions, as well as strategic direction, policy, culture and company resources.

Anthony joined TasPorts in early 2016 as Chief Operating Officer, and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in June 2019. He has extensive experience in the maritime sector, as well as in transport and logistics.

Julie Garth

Group Executive People and Culture

Julie joined TasPorts in October 2022.

A highly experienced HR Executive, Julie brings with her comprehensive experience in strategic, operational, and commercially focused roles.

Julie and her team oversee the TasPorts three-year People and Culture Roadmap delivering on three broad objectives: enriching our culture, developing our people and planning our future.

Phil Hoggett

Group Executive Commercial & Trade | Chief Finance Officer (Acting)

Phil joined the TasPorts executive team in February 2019 to lead the commercial and trade team for the business.

Phil and his team develop and facilitate the delivery of TasPorts' commercial and trade strategy, including the planning, implementation and management of key commercial and strategic customer relationships across all key industry sectors.

Angie Somann-Crawford

General Counsel and Company Secretary

Angie is TasPorts Company Secretary and General Counsel.

In her role, Angie is responsible for TasPorts’ legal services and ensuring compliance with all corporate governance and statutory requirements.

Michel de Vos

Group Executive Major Projects, Assets and Technical Services (Acting)

Michel joined TasPorts in February 2023, and is responsible for strategic asset management, engineering and project delivery as well as overseeing environmental compliance and sustainability.

Michel has a background in the maritime and ports industry and has been involved in maritime projects across Australia, Asia and India. Michel is experienced in the ports sector, holding roles at major ports throughout Australia and New Zealand including the delivery of large infrastructure projects.

He is on the board of PIANC Australia and New Zealand, the World Assocation for Waterborne Transport and Infrastructure.

Trent Burke

Group Executive Operations (Acting)

Trent joined TasPorts in September 2022.

An experienced operational leader, Trent also brings a wealth of knowledge in heavy industrial asset management and business improvement to his role.

Trent and his team oversee TasPorts' complete operational footprint, inclusive of all marine and landside port operations statewide and Bass Island Line shipping.
