Clean Up Australia inspires and empowers communities to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment. On Tuesday 28 February 2023 businesses and organisations of all sizes came together to clean up as part of Clean Up Australia’s annual Business Clean Up Day.

At TasPorts, the 2023 Business Clean Up Australia Day was a wonderful way to contribute to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment and strongly demonstrates our values, Care and Together.

Clean Ups occurred across community areas where we operate in Hobart, Launceston, Burnie and Devonport.

The day’s activities resulted in over 30 bags of general waste and recyclables collected, reducing the amount of waste entering our waterways.

In the worlds of Clean Up Australia, a business clean up is a fantastic way to engage staff, foster team spirit, promote sustainability and bolster Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives.

Registrations are still open for Clean Up Australia Day 2023, with national events taking place on Sunday 5 March.
