Seabed Levelling

As part of its role in ensuring safe navigation within port limits, TasPorts is undertaking seabed levelling activities at Berths 5, 6 and 7 at the Port of Burnie.

Aligned with its Environmental Standard, TasPorts will be undertaking its activities from 15 April 2024, with completion scheduled for no later than 15 May 2024.

These works will be undertaken on-water at Berth 5, 6 and 7 and will be completed around shipping activities within the Port. TasPorts is not anticipating any disruption to port activities during these works.

These works are part of TasPorts' short-term dredge management approach for the Port of Burnie to maintain the port's declared depths.
